What`s the special thing about skiing vacations in Altenmarkt? Everyone will find something to his taste. Definitely, because the choice is enormous: 17 kilometers of slopes in the Radstadt-Altenmarkt ski area, the Zauchensee-Flachauwinkl ski area and the world-famous Obertauern ski area – all practically on your apartment doorstep or just a stone’s throw away.
Located in the middle of the Salzburg Sports World and Ski amadé, our guests have a total of 760 kilometers of slopes, 4 designated freeride routes and 270 ultra-modern cable cars at their disposal. In addition, of course, there are several ski schools, sports stores and lots of rustic huts.

Even away from the fun on the slopes, there is so much to experience in Altenmarkt. Cross-country skiing is at the top of the list. This is particularly easy to do on a network of 260 kilometers of cross-country trails.
But the wonderful landscape around our apartments can also be explored in other ways. On the prepared winter hiking trails, for example, or – if you prefer it quiet – with snowshoes or touring skis far away from the hustle and bustle of the village. Don’t forget your sled! On a total of 4 tracks, 3 of which are illuminated at night, you can sledge down into the valley at high speed.
